I have been with Vision Sports Club since its opening in 2008. Once a certified elementary school teacher, my path changed upon my diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes in 2005. Since then my focus and passion have been to educate my clients on eating and exercising and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. As a Certified personal trainer and Weight Management Specialist for 15 years, I create customized meal plans to help my clients reach not only their weight goals but their fitness goals. Ed is a certified functional strength coach (CFSC) and a certified personal trainer with AAPT. Ed has been with Vision Sports Club since 2009, and has been training and coaching children and adults to achieve their fitness goals through functional strength training and conditioning. His mission is to educate and help people achieve their fitness goals, while having fun doing so.
Certified by National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), American Fitness Association of America (AFFA), ISCA Boxing Level 1 and TRX Suspension Training
He has been in the fitness industry since 2003 and has participated and finished over twenty half marathons, long-distance road bike challenges (MS 150), and Obstacle Challenges (Spartan Beast, Tough Mudder and Warrior). As a group exercise instructor, he teaches a variety of classes which include Ultimate Fitness Experience (UXF Circuit), Cardio Cross-Training, Core Conditioning, Total Body Conditioning, Boxing Conditioning, TRXSuspension Training, Kettlebell Training, Boot Camp, Club Strength, Sports Circuit, BOSU Strength, BOSU Core, Pre-Season Sports conditioning, Daily Ultimate Training (DUT) and Sports Circuit.
